  • MEMBER TESTIMONIAL from Renate Knippen/President, Knippen Enterprises, Inc., Member at Large

Being a part of DPWN has been a rewarding experience for many women.  Working with visionary, Christie Ruffino, has allowed many women the opportunity to network and build relationships both professionally and personally.  Growing the organization from 30 members to over 300 in a short period of time is only a small part of the overall picture.  The quality relationships that have been developed, the quality of business being conducted, the quality of personal growth that's provided has put DPWN on the map as one of the premier women's networking organization of its kind. One that continues to grow - not by numbers alone, but by the value it creates for its membership.

  • Barrington CELEBRATING WOMEN IN BUSINESS

This DPWN chapter officially celebrated their 2nd Year Anniversary recently.  The event was titled "Celebrating Women in Busines" and was a resounding success!  The Lucky Monk Restaurant in South Barrington hosted the event which drew business women from various trades and professions throughout the Barrington area.  The evening provided wonderful food, beverage and raffles for fantastic prizes!  The evening focus was to celebrate the 2nd anniversary for the women's business network which meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month.  The success of this Barrington Chapter is the result of a dynamic blending of women who support each others' business endeavors and share ideas for growth.  The celebration also had a serious goal to raise funds for St. Alexius Childrens Hospital.  A check for the evenings proceeds was presented to an appreciative spokesperson for the Hospital.  (see photo)
